Agriculture, crucial for human life, is one of the world’s largest industries. Its size, along with unsustainable farming practices, make it a major cause of air, soil, and water pollution. Amid concerns about the impact of modern agricultural methods on the environment, Ahavah Farm rises to the occasion with a strong commitment to bringing sustainability to farming.
A community-run sustainable and regenerative farm that follows biodynamic principles, Ahavah Farm is devoted to building a greener tomorrow with eco-friendly cultivation practices. Its goal is to help individuals and communities experience the healthenhancing benefits of wholesome, organically-grown produce.
“Our mission is to provide health to our region, healing to our earth, and love to our community by growing the purest and most environmentally-responsible food possible,” says Yosef Camire, owner of Ahavah Farm.
It uses the least invasive and most environmentally-friendly farming practices to restore and rejuvenate farmlands while ensuring the highest quality yields. This entails practicing minimal tillage methods, using locally produced compost, fertilizer, and soil additives, including manure and gypsum, and eliminating the use of store-bought farming supplies like chemical fertilizers and anti-infestation sprays.
The first-generation family farm was started by husband-wife duo Yosef and Havah Camire. They run it with a tight-knit team who cares for the farm year-round through extreme weather conditions like hailstorms, harsh winds, blistering summers, and freezing temperatures.
One of the largest farms in the state of Colorado, Ahavah Farm has successfully scaled its farming operations to feed thousands of families without compromising on yield quality. Customers can opt for a communitysupported agriculture (CSA) program membership, where Ahavah Farm allots them specific amounts of vegetables per week depending on the selected tier.

Organics require much more effort to grow than typical produce, and that can reflect in the pricing. To make its benefits accessible for customers of all income groups, Ahavah Farm practices a paywhat- you-can-afford philosophy.
As part of its green mission, it invests a significant amount of time, energy, and financial resources into promoting community awareness around sustainable and regenerative agriculture. The goal is to help the masses understand its science and benefits, encouraging them to understand the value of the “cleaner” agricultural method.
To accomplish this, Ahavah regularly hosts classes and events themed around eco-friendly practices of local farms and their high-quality produce. The education drive helps create a giant chain of information and knowledge around environmentally-friendly practices, ultimately raising the quality of produce on a wide scale.
Ahavah Farm’s devotion to engaging the community by hosting events enables it to grow by leaps and bounds. This is reflected in its ever-growing CSA program and the countless helping hands around the farm.
It also promotes local farmers and vendors by hosting farm markets and aids the community through donations. Its drive to serve the community is best illustrated through its non-profit wing, Ahavah Community Initiative, which has donated $400K USD worth of farm yield to individuals so far. It also manages a nursery, a garden center, and a woodworking business.
Patrons of the Farm regularly share their love for its produce. Many personally approach the Camires to express their gratitude for serving organics in Colorado, as the state lacked a purely-grown produce farm of its scale.
Despite being in one of the harshest agricultural areas in the U.S., Ahavah Farm continues to uphold a gold standard for regenerative and sustainable agriculture. It is steadfast in its aim to help customers experience the benefits of consuming nutritious, pesticidefree, organically-grown produce, while maintaining integrity in its farming practices.
